Welcome to my life! I’m 28 with a creative eye and love documenting life in all of its forms. When I was in middle school I began my lifelong hobby of journaling and started to dabble in photography/videography. It wasn’t until 2022 that I decided to reevaluate my goals and values— to dedicate my time to the pursuit of that love for photo and video again! I became captivated with filmmaking and creating, learning everything I could through YouTube, mentors, and blogs. I have always made videos for family and friends, but now I have chosen to venture out into the world and share my passion!

I am married to the most wonderful man, Caleb. He's a master electrician, a dedicated family man, and the best human (and cat!) dad. Caleb and I have been inseparable since 2014, and if you book a second photographer or videographer with me, chances are you'll get him, too!

Together, we have two cats, Hope and Henry, both with big personalities that we absolutely adore. Hope is my black kitty and the inspiration behind the name Black Cat Studios ♥︎ We're also the proud parents of two little humans! The wild and wonderful Oliver is 2, and our smiley baby girl, Adeline, joined our family in the spring of 2026.

These days, when I'm not taking photos or making films, you can usually find me chasing our toddler and caring for the baby. I truly love being a stay-at-home mom, though it's definitely not for the faint of heart! I feel most at peace in nature. One of my favorite things is looking out our back windows across the field, watching the trees sway and the wildlife wander by. There's just something about our home that makes me feel so whole.

I love watching movies and tend to binge-watch TV shows. I have a deep appreciation for storytelling, which is one of the reasons I consider this the best job I've ever had! I particularly enjoy Marvel movies, "Outlander", mysteries, historical fiction, and all the silly sitcoms. Additionally, I love hiking and camping. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we lived in a fifth wheel for two years!
